Description
The incumbent will be responsible for carrying out tyre repair jobs according to quality standards to meet customer needs in an efficient and timely manner.
Requirements
Governmental Technical Institute certificate in Motor Vehicle Repairs, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Machinery or similar certification
Five (5) CXC Subjects inclusive of Mathematics and English A
One (1) year experience in a similar role will be an asset
Responsibilities
Assess, prepare and repair tyres to the highest standard.
Follow proper procedures for the Tyre Workshop to ensure customer satisfaction, high quality and standard record keeping.
Ensure safe and secure storage of tyre repair materials and equipment.
Liaise with Workshop Supervisor regarding stock levels and order requests when required.
Carry out regular stock checks of tyre repair stock.
Operate the forklift to carry out loading and offloading of workshop stock.
Maintain tyre repair equipment and tools.
