We are seeking dedicated and professional armed and unarmed security officers to join our team. As a security officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and visitors. Must be able to work in a shift system and various locations.
Must have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Strong observation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with excellent written and oral communication abilities.

Must be able to complete the Guyana Police Force Supernumerary constabulary course, which includes classroom instructions, and minimal unarmed tactical and firearms training.
Access Control: Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain the security of premises.
Surveillance: Patrol industrial and commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates.
Customer Interaction: Inquire if prospective customers are desirous of using the service and render assistance where necessary.
Public Presence: Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
Incident Reporting: Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, the presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Enforcement: Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary.
Alarm Response: Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
Safety Compliance: Observe and ensure that customers are adhering to the company's safety regulations.
Conflict Resolution: Deal with disgruntled customers in a clear, considerate, firm, and professional manner.
Visitor Assistance: Receive persons visiting staff members in a helpful and courteous manner and facilitate contact between the two parties.
Restricted Access Enforcement: Ensure that only authorized personnel enter the office/staff area.
Additional Duties: Perform additional related duties as identified by the Chief Security Officer or Supervisor.
