The Manager shall assist the Marketing Department in achieving its stated objectives by planning, organizing, directing and executing all functions and services required to: a) promote and increase the daily bills-in (“Handle”) at agent locations and venues on Guyana; b) ensure that the Marketing Department on Guyana operates in accordance with contractual requirements and applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures; and c) maintain the confidentiality of all privileged information and marketing and promotions strategies.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing.
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in promotions, events or database marketing; or equivalent combination of experience and education
Relevant experience may be considered in the absence of formal qualification.
Certification in Microsoft Office suite from accredited institution.
Minimum of two (2) years’ supervisory experience
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all customers of CAGE Guyana.
Developing solutions for customer concerns and continual focus on customer service as our top priority.
Providing leadership for all Marketing personnel.
Participating and providing input to local management meetings regarding activities, strategic planning, budget development, and performance review processes.
Ensuring personnel policies and procedures are implemented, human resource practices are adhered to, and employee development and recognition activities are in place and effective.
Assign duties to, and coordinate the activities of staff to include evaluations, scheduling, disciplinary actions, hiring, training, orientation, coaching, and employee motivation.
Manage the daily operational budget and all fiduciary concerns of the Marketing department.
Develop, maintain and facilitate effective communication processes and activities for all personnel of the Marketing department.
Develop a comprehensive marketing plan for Guyana to include yearly financial objectives.
Research and identify all potential entertainment events and/or opportunities to maximize CAGE’s exposure on Guyana.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive entertainment plan.
Develop and maintains an effective Advertising, Promotional and Player Development program within cost justified guidelines.
Host regular staff meetings to ensure communication between personnel and program related activities.
Contribute to departmental effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-term goals.
