The construction manager will coordinate, communicate, and direct construction activities from initial project planning to start-up and beyond. They will work closely with project stakeholders to ensure that all phases of construction meet industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory compliance.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
10+ years’ experience in construction for the Oil and Gas industry
Strong understanding of typical construction sites and fabrication yard performance variables
Competent skill levels in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Able to articulate technical issues to a non-technical audience
Good command of English, both written and spoken
Ability to travel internationally
Able to collaborate with others in a fast-changing environment.
Oversee the planning and execution of fabrication, construction, hookup, and mechanical completion.
Lead and manage company site team(s) for completion of construction activities by project objectives, schedule, priorities, and contract specifications.
Lead Site Safety and Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE).
Manage construction-related interfaces/interactions with contractors and other company functional groups (e.g., engineering, systems completions, installation, etc.)
Resolve routine construction site issues locally and fairly; break down barriers to progress.
Supervise on-site contractual administration and specification compliance.
Support project construction site management with expertise as needed.
