Driver

We are looking for punctual candidates with good time management skills for the position of Professional Driver. Drivers are responsible for transporting either passenger from one location to another in a timely manner, working on nights and weekends and ensuring that vehicles are always ready for use, among other duties.

Education & Experience

• A valid multi class driver's license (ML/MC/MV/MT/MIB/MB)
• Vehicle Drivers(s) are required to possess minimum secondary school certification. Good command of english both oral & written.
• Extensive knowledge of the operating area.
• Must be knowledgeable in trouble shooting
• Must have basic idea about vehicle
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency using GPS devices.
• At least five (5) years driving experience with a clean driving history.
• Must display a positive and responsible attitude.
• Must be tidy and pleasant.
• Defensive driving certification is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

• Drivers must possess good communication (written & verbal) skills.
• Be forward thinking and self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision and able to instill sound performance and behaviors.
• Capable of working in culturally diverse teams and liaising with both National and Expatriate personnel.

• Transporting staff , customers and visitors as per work schedule.
• Reporting any accidents, damages and injuries sustained while operating vehicles in a timely manner.
• Reporting any vehicle defects.
• Cleaning of vehicles’ cabs and interiors.
• Assisting with the unloading and delivery of luggage for customers.
• Any other relevant duties which may be assigned from time to time.
• Conducting daily inspection of assigned vehicle before departing the compound.
• Safely delivering passengers in time with courteous manner to different geographical areas.
