Human Resource Officer

We are looking to employ a Human Resource Officer with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, excellent organizational skills, good time management skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The HR officer is expected to be knowledgeable with employment legislation and labour laws.

• Bachelor's degree in human resource.

• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in human resource.

• To have sound working knowledge of HR policies and guidelines, evidenced by prior working experience and or education.

• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills.

• Labour relations certification will be an asset.

• Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.

• To administer and manage the Personnel Files for all staff, ensure filing is always well organized and maintained.
• To assist in applicant screening – shortlist appropriate applicants, as well as conduct interviews.
• To implement, communicate and enforce HR policies and procedures within the organization as required. Inclusive of hiring, employee contracts, job letters, letters of reprimand, suspension and dismissal, where necessary.
• To maintain inventory system for the distribution of Staff Movie Tickets/Passes to Monthly Staff with pay slips.
• To distribute, reconcile and maintain the Company’s Uniform Inventory.
• Monitoring of probation dates and appraisals for all staff.
• To assist with the procedural documentation of HR processes.
• To be flexible and provide assistance with additional tasks where required.
