Description

The primary focus of the Logistics Coordinator is to execute the day-to-day operations of transportation and distribution in a supply chain.

Currently hiring for 12 hours shift 4 days on / 4 days off

Requirements

  • ·        At least 5 subjects CXC including Mathematics and English

    ·        Excellent knowledge of Google Maps and Microsoft Office

    ·        Experience in logistics would be an asset.

    ·        Ability to work a shift system with limited supervision in a fast paste environment.

    ·        Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

    ·        Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    ·        Strong communication skills, professional demeanor on phone calls and in emails to a wide variety of professionals at all levels 

    ·        Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact with various stakeholders.

    ·        Possess a positive and persistent attitude required to build relationships and gain cooperation from various departments and external partners. 

Responsibilities

·        Track shipment status and monitor delivery timelines to ensure timely customer delivery.

·        Request, verify, and upload necessary documents, such as Proof of Delivery (POD), into client systems as required.

·        Collaborate with freight carriers to schedule and coordinate shipments.

·        Optimize delivery routes to reduce transportation costs and delivery times, considering factors like distance, traffic, and vehicle capacity.

·        Monitor and oversee shipments during transit to guarantee on-time delivery.

·        Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including shipping manifests, bills of lading, and customs paperwork.

·        Stay informed about transportation regulations and comply with regional and international shipping laws.

·        Maintain transparent communication with internal team to provide shipment status updates.

·        Address and resolve shipment-related problems or discrepancies in coordination with internal teams.

·        Deliver excellent customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and resolving shipment-related concerns.
