VACANCY: STOCK CHECKERS / RECEIVER

The Stock Checker / Receiver is responsible for receiving, inspecting, verifying, recording, and monitoring stock delivered to Yokohama Trading Guyana. The role ensures that all incoming vehicles, vehicle parts, accessories, and other company goods are accurately checked against the relevant documentation and that any shortages, damages, or discrepancies are reported promptly.

The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, honest, organized, and capable of maintaining accurate stock records while ensuring that company inventory is properly handled

Requirements:

• Minimum of a secondary school education.

• Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, warehousing, or receiving will be an asset.

• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.

• Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Honest, punctual, dependable, and willing to learn.

• 2-3 Years driving experience

• Valid License

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming vehicles, parts, and other stock delivered to the company.

• Verify quantities, descriptions, and condition of items, delivery notes, and other supporting documents.

• Inspect received stock for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report any issues promptly.

• Conduct physical stock counts and assist with regular inventory checks for receiving vehicles.

• Ensure all received items are properly recorded and documented.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and report stock discrepancies to the supervisor.

• Work closely with the warehouse, sales, and other relevant departments.

• Follow company procedures for receiving, handling, and safeguarding stock.
