Trainee Accountant

As a Trainee Accountant, you bring value to GKB by accurately and thoroughly assisting with daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records and compliance, processing transactions, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our finance systems.

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA, CAT

Experience:  Minimum of two years of experience

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers

• Help ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements

• Process invoices, receipts, payments, and petty cash transactions

• Participate in audits by preparing the requested documentation

• Perform data entry of financial information into accounting systems    

• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements

• Maintain and file financial documents, records, and reports      

• Assist in the preparation of payroll and statutory deductions

• Respond to internal and external financial queries promptly

• Follow the requirements of GKB’s safety program

• Perform any other related duties assigned by the supervisor
