Inventory Clerk

Job Summary:
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate records of all inventory within our warehouse facility. This role is crucial to our shipping operations, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are correctly logged, stored, and accounted for. The ideal candidate will be proficient with inventory software, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Basic computer skills (MS Office, especially Excel for spreadsheets and data entry).

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move objects up to [e.g., 50 lbs] regularly.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments and stock.

• Accurately sort, label, and store inventory in the correct locations within the warehouse.

• Pick, pack, and prepare outbound orders for shipment according to customer requirements.

• Perform regular cycle counts and comprehensive physical inventory audits.

• Update inventory records in the company's Warehouse Management System (WMS) or database in real-time.

• Investigate and reconcile any discrepancies between physical stock and system records.

• Assist in organizing the warehouse space efficiently and safely.

• Collaborate with the shipping, receiving, and procurement teams to ensure smooth operations.
