Mechanic Foreman

Co-ordinate repair and maintenance of company trucks, ligth-duty vehicles and forklifts.

Experience in a similar position will be an asset.

Certificate or qualification in the mechanical field.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blue-prints.

Experienced in hydraulics, engine overhaul, rebuilding transmission.

Co-ordinate daily activities of the workshop.

Supervise mechanics to ensure that work is done in an efficient manner.

Provides technical support for technicians when necessary.

Maintains high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks. Conducts periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.

Road tests vehicles to quality-check work performed.

Ensures the proper care, storage and inventory of special tools.

Attends managers meetings as requested.
