Bartender

We are looking for a Bartender to prepare and serve beverages, take customer orders, maintain a clean and organized bar area, monitor stock levels, and provide excellent customer service.

• Minimum of 3 years of hotel or bar experience

• A valid food handler certificate

• Secondary school education or CXC would be an asset

• Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation, beverage service and bar operations

• Knowledge of bar equipment, glassware and garnishes

• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and age-verification procedures

• Knowledge of food hygiene, sanitation and workplace safety

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Professional appearance and conduct

• Available to work shifts, weekends and public holidays

• Prepare drinks consistently using established recipes and standards

• Manage bar stock and report discrepancies

• Operate the POS system and process payments accurately

• Follow responsible alcohol service and age-verification procedures

• Follow food hygiene, sanitation and workplace safety practices

• Develop creative beverage and cocktail concepts and contribute to menu development
