Description

Maintain machines, such as air-conditioning systems, heating and ventilation units and power plants; help to develop control systems by studying and improving the mechanical processes; maintain job performance and quality standards, and housekeeping practices.

Requirements

  • Ordinary Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

  • 1-2 years related work experience

    OR

  • Sound Secondary Education

  • 2-3 Year related work experience

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the assembly of machinery and suggest how to improve machinery.  

  • Calculate costs and the amount of equipment required to build/repair machines.  

  • Give advice on installing equipment and machinery.  

  • Test and repair equipment and machines and monitor their operation to improve mechanical processes.  

  • Plan and give advice on equipment and machinery maintenance work.  

  • Maintain job performance and quality standards.
