The Customer Service / Import Documentation Clerk plays a dual role in ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient management of import documentation. This position involves handling customer inquiries and complaints while also preparing and processing documentation related to the importation of containers and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Minimum 5 CSEC Subjects.
You are fluent in English, and you have good command of computer and Office tools (especially Outlook and Excel).
Your interpersonal skills, a good sense of communication, and your team spirit make you succeed in your mission
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team.
Experience in the Shipping Industry is preferred.
Liaise with international agents for documents and confirmation of cargo arrival and documentation queries for expected vessels.
Preparation and sending of Documents / Arrival Notifications to customers of cargo arrival and availability.
Update ASYCUDA with expected cargo (XML Automatic upload). Issuing Waybill to customers.
Provide prompt and courteous assistance to customers via phone, email, and in-person.
Address and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints related to shipments, documentation, and service issues.
Maintain organized records of import shipments and customer interactions for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
