Description

The Administrative Assistant will provide high-level administrative and organizational support to the General Secretary and the Office of the General Secretary of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF).

Requirements

1.    Diploma in Business Administration, Management,  Communications or related field. Acceptable certifications and/or diploma in Secretarial Service, Office Administration or related field.

2.     Minimum of 3 years of experience (preferred 5 years and above) in administrative support, in corporate, academic, or non-profit organization.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage the General Secretary’s calendar, coordinate appointments and schedule meetings; prepare minutes and action points for meetings chaired by or involving the General Secretary.

  2. Draft, review, and format correspondence, reports, and official communications. Assist in preparing briefing materials and background documents for stakeholder engagements.

  3. Maintain organized filing systems (both digital and physical) for the Office of the General Secretary.

  4. Assist the Head of Administration to coordinate logistical arrangements for events, meetings, conferences, and travel for the General Secretary.
