Operations Support Technician - Oil & Gas

The Operations Support Technician will provide support to the Oil and Gas Team in overseeing and monitoring the quality of all services within their designated area and ensuring that the services meet the expected quality standards.

1.       Minimum of five (5) CSEC passes (including Mathematics and English)

2.       Further education/training in areas including; Engineering, QHSE Management etc. will be considered an asset

3.       Up to two (2) year of experience in a related role (Desirable)

Or any equivalent combination of qualification and experience

1. Develop understanding of work processes within Testing and Certification department.

2. Supports in the adherence to the company’s QHSE policies and procedures.

3. Supports in the adherence to customer procedures and policies.

4. Root cause failure analysis and lessons learned process.

5. Supports in the recertification process focusing on compliance with company standards.

6. Supports in the proper close-out process of all action items with proper follow-up

7. Coordinates & collaborates with the team on shop floor/laboratory work scope following up on procedural compliance

8. Supports QA/QC Coordinator in ensuring general operation, equipment certification records, and documentation are accurate and up to date

9. Demonstrate flexibility in work functions as well as taking initiative to see gaps and make improvements within the operation.

10. Take inventory of incoming equipment.

11. Create certification bands for completed certified equipment.

12. Learn each company's standards/procedures for requalification of discharge manifold equipment.

13. Learn each family, sizes, styles, figures, pressure rating of High-Pressure Iron components.
