Wine Expert/ Sommelier

We're looking for someone in Guyana with good wine knowledge and existing connections in the restaurant trade. The role would involve introducing premium wines to restaurants and hotels. It's early days, so we're starting by finding the right person.

• Existing relationships in the trade

• A measured, relationship-led approach

• Comfortable working independently early on

Key duties

• Build relationships with restaurants, hotels and similar venues

• Introduce and sell premium wines to buyers and F&B teams

• Run the occasional tasting and help venue staff get familiar with the range

• Keep a feel for what's selling and where the gaps are

• Pass back what you learn from the market
