Cashier

The Cashier is responsible for accurately collecting, processing, and recording payments for tickets, charters, freight, and other aviation-related services. This role ensures the secure handling of cash and non-cash transactions while maintaining detailed financial records and providing professional, courteous service to customers. The Cashier also supports the Accounts Department through timely submission of reports and reconciliation of daily transactions, contributing to the overall efficiency and integrity of the company’s financial operations.

CXC subjects including Mathematics and English

Knowledge and understanding of QuickBooks Accounting and Microsoft proficient.

1. Collect and process payments for tickets, charters, freight, and other aviation related services.

2.  Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.

3. Count and reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.

4. Prepare daily cash summaries and submit to the Accounts Department.

5. Assist customers at the counter with payments and general inquiries.

6. Provide professional and courteous service to passengers and clients.

7. Maintain organized logs of all cash and card transactions

8. Prepare and submit daily sales reports and payment summaries.

9. Handle multiple payment methods including cash, cards, and wire transfers.

10. Process foreign currency transactions.

11. Follow established cash handling procedures and company policies.

12.  Report any discrepancies or suspicious transactions promptly.

13. Coordinate with the Accounts Department to ensure financial accuracy.

14. Prepare petty cash & advance slip when require.

15. Any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
