We are seeking a highly organized and people-focused recruiting and onboarding officer to lead our talent acquisition and employee integration process. This is a critical role that ensures JSB Group attracts, selects, and successfully onboards top talent across all our operational divisions.
Diploma or degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years experience in recruitment, HR, or talent acquisition.
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Zoho Recruit experience is an advantage) Proven track record of successful hiring and onboarding.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Manage a comprehensive candidate database in Zoho Recruit with detailed skills classification for field, office, marine, and technical roles.
Create and publish job advertisements across multiple platforms, including Zoho Recruit, WhatsApp, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and Skilled Guyanese.
Conduct structured interviews assessing technical skills, reliability, work ethic, and cultural fit Process walk-in applicants and accurately enter all information into our Applicant Tracking System.
Conduct reference checks and background screening before final hiring decisions Collaborate with our Multimedia Department to design compelling recruitment content.
Onboarding & Integration Delivery
comprehensive onboarding sessions covering company rules, reporting structure, payroll procedures, and workplace policies.
Set initial KPIs for new hires aligned with departmental needs and supervisor requirements.
Conduct 30-, 60-, and 90-day probationary reviews to ensure proper integration and performance tracking.
Coordinate employee placement and start dates with department supervisors across all locations.
Support international employees with documentation submission to GRA, NIS, ministries, and embassies.
Documentation & Compliance
Collect, verify, and securely file all candidate and employee documentation.
Ensure all information is properly lodged with payroll systems (Zoho Books, Techlify).
Maintain accurate records distinguishing temporary, contractual, and permanent employee classifications.
Update ATS and internal systems regularly with all recruitment activity.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Monitor daily attendance logs and flag inconsistencies or absenteeism trends to managers.
Document supervisor feedback on new hire performance, conduct, and development needs Recommend hiring confirmations, probation extensions, or terminations based on documented performance.
Provide weekly recruitment and staffing reports to the CEO, CFO, and operations supervisor.
Support workforce planning to ensure talent availability aligns with operational demands.
