Residential Housekeeper

The Residential Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep of a private residence. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to perform housekeeping tasks to a high standard.

• Prior experience as a housekeeper, cleaner, or domestic worker preferred.

• Knowledge of proper cleaning methods, use of cleaning products, and safe handling of chemicals.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.

• Trustworthy, reliable, and respectful of employer’s home and privacy.

• Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, and long periods of standing.

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.

• Clean and sanitize all rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas.

• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish furniture and fixtures.

• Wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry and linens.

• Change bed linens and make beds regularly.

• Maintain proper organization of closets, cupboards, and storage areas.

• Run household errands such as grocery shopping, picking up supplies, or dry cleaning (if required).

• Dispose of trash and recyclables properly.

• Monitor cleaning supplies and household items, informing employer when restocking is needed.

• Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.

• Respect the privacy and confidentiality of the household.
