Fusion Hospitality was born from a shared vision between two friends, Yonnick David and Javid Rahaman, who reconnected at a rooftop bar called Altitude. At the time, Yonnick had just returned to Guyana after living in the United States, while Javid was deeply involved in running Altitude his family’s business. What began as casual conversations quickly evolved into a bigger idea, one centred on elevating the standards of hospitality in Guyana.
As the vision took shape, they were joined by Victor Tenias, a talented and passionate chef whose culinary creativity completed the foundation of the group. Together, they formed Fusion Hospitality, engaging investors and building a portfolio of some of Guyana’s premier dining and entertainment destinations. In a short time, Fusion Hospitality has catered to influential audiences, earned multiple awards, created meaningful employment, and helped redefine what modern hospitality can look like in Guyana.
