Description

The Skid Steer Operator (Bobcat) is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of skid steer equipment to support site operations, including material handling, loading, and site maintenance. The role ensures that all work is performed in accordance with safety standards, operational procedures, and quality requirements.

  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

  • Identify and report hazards and unsafe conditions.

  • Ensure compliance with environmental and operational standards.

  • Follow operational procedures and company standards.

  • Ensure work is completed efficiently and to required quality standards.

  • Support compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.


Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 1–3 years’ experience operating skid steer equipment

  • Valid operator’s certification or license (where required)

  • Experience in construction, landfill, or industrial operations preferred

Responsibilities

Equipment Operation

  • Operate skid steer machinery to move, load, and transport materials.

  • Perform tasks such as grading, lifting, clearing, and site preparation.

  • Ensure proper handling of materials to avoid damage or loss.

Site Operations

  • Assist with daily operational activities at the worksite.

  • Support waste handling, landfill operations, or construction activities as required.

  • Maintain clean and organized work areas.

General Duties

  • Assist team members with other tasks as needed.

  • Follow instructions from supervisors and management.

  • Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.
