The Breakfast Maker is responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality breakfast items in a timely and hygienic manner. The role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and consistency to ensure guests or customers receive fresh, well-prepared breakfast meals according to established standards.
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Certification in food safety (Food handler's Certificate), culinary training is an advantage
1–3 years of experience in a similar role (hotel, café, restaurant, or catering)
Good knowledge of breakfast food preparation and basic cooking techniques
Ability to work early morning shifts
Strong organizational and time management skills
Attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and food quality
Team player with good communication skills
Physically fit and able to stand for lengthy periods
Prepare and cook breakfast menu items
Ensure all food is prepared according to standard recipes and portion sizes
Set up and maintain the breakfast station before service
Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation at all times
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations
Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
Manage food stock, assist with inventory checks, and minimize wastage
Coordinate with kitchen staff and service teams to ensure smooth breakfast operations
Handle special dietary requests when required
Clean and store equipment properly after service
