Payroll Clerk

• Minimum of 5 CXC subjects, including Mathematics and English

• Prior experience in payroll, accounting, or administrative support would be an asset

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll/accounting software

• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail

• High level of confidentiality and professionalism

• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Core Responsibilities

Payroll Processing Support

• Gather and verify timesheets and attendance records

• Assist with calculation of hours worked, overtime, and statutory deductions

• Enter payroll data accurately into spreadsheets and payroll systems

Record Management

• Maintain organized employee payroll files

• Update payroll records and ensure proper documentation

Employee Support

• Respond to basic payroll inquiries (pay slips, leave balances, timesheets)

• Escalate complex issues to senior payroll or HR personnel

Accuracy & Compliance

• Double-check payroll entries for errors

• Report inconsistencies immediately

• Support compliance with NIS, GRA, and other statutory requirements

Confidentiality

• Handle employee financial information with discretion
