Strategic Leadership
Support the development and execution of strategic business, sales, and market expansion plans.
Contribute to achieving revenue targets, increasing market share, and strengthening competitive positioning.
Assist in developing pricing strategies and new business development initiatives.
Support promotion and growth of company services and market presence.
Represent the organization with stakeholders, regulatory authorities, financial institutions, and industry associations.
Financial Management & Governance
Review and validate financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
Monitor receivables and payables to ensure timely collections and payments.
Oversee cash flow management and financial planning activities.
Assist in preparing and monitoring annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Identify cost-reduction opportunities and support budget control initiatives.
Provide senior management and board-level stakeholders with financial and operational performance reports.
Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.
Work with corporate finance and audit teams to maintain strong internal controls and asset protection systems.
Operational Leadership
Coordinate cross-functional departments including sales, marketing, operations, finance, human resources, and warehousing.
Drive operational efficiency, productivity improvements, and service delivery standards.
Ensure compliance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Monitor performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across departments.
Support implementation of operational improvement initiatives.
People & Performance Management
Support leadership development and accountability across management teams.
Promote performance management practices aligned with business objectives.
Foster a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Proven experience in the logistics/freight industry (air and ocean)
Strong finance, accounting, and analytical skills
Office Services, Money Transfer, Marketing and Restaurant experience an asset
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Strong computer and interpersonal skills with a proactive “can do” attitude
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Logistics, or related field
Five to seven years of related experience and/or training
