We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Project Clerk to join the team at Terraform Solutions. This role is vital in supporting our project management and daily operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable handling both digital accounting tasks and physical paperwork.
• Academic Foundation: Must possess at least 5 CXC/CSEC subjects (General Proficiency Grades I-III), including:
• Mathematics (Essential for QuickBooks and bidding calculations).
• English A (Crucial for professional correspondence and tender documents).
• Principles of Accounts or Principles of Business (Demonstrated understanding of business operations).
• Software Expertise: Minimum of 1–2 years of hands-on experience using QuickBooks for daily transaction posting and basic reporting.
• Administrative Experience: Prior experience in a clerical or project-support role, ideally within a technical, construction, or solutions-based company.
• Bidding Knowledge: Familiarity with the Guyanese procurement process, including the preparation of compliance documents (NIS/GRA) and bid folders.
• Organizational Skills: A high level of "filing discipline"—must be able to manage both digital folders and physical project binders with zero errors.
Bidding Support: Assist in the preparation, documentation, and timely submission of project bids and tenders.
• Financial Record Keeping: Perform daily posting and data entry in QuickBooks to ensure accurate financial tracking.
• Office Administration: Manage general office "paperwork," including filing, scanning, and organizing project documents.
• Communication: Act as a point of contact for project-related inquiries and coordinate between field staff and the office.
• Reporting: Help generate weekly or monthly project status reports for management.
