The school runs an after-school programme. No classes are conducted in the mornings.

. Proven experience as a teacher

·Teaching or any other certificates

. Valid Police Clearance

. Valid Food Handlers Certificate

Responsibilities

Present lessons comprehensively and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning.

· Provide individualized instruction to each pupil by promoting interactive learning.

· Assess and record pupils’ progress and provide feedback.

· Maintain a mannerly and orderly working environment.

· Designing and following a complete teaching plan.

· Teaching the pupils to satisfy their individual needs.

· Organizing learning material and resources.

· Be courteous and on time for work.

· Ensure the classroom is neat and clean before and after each teaching period.

Nick’s Phonics Centre was established on the 31st of January, 2015. As an experienced teacher who worked at a top Private School for over 14 years, a passion was developed to assist children who were considered weak in literacy or unable to meet the requirements to enter the school, thus Nick’s Phonics Centre was created. We cater our services to children between the ages of 3 years old to 8 years old. We partner with the child’s teacher, so parents can feel confident that their child’s learning plan is on track. At Nick’s Phonics Centre we ensure that the specific learning needs of each child is met, as well as developing confidence, self-esteem and independent study skills. Motivating a child to want to succeed is key. Indeed, if a child feels they can succeed, they invariably will. We strive to make students not only smarter but more independent and confident. In our comfortable, child friendly classroom learning is impossible not to be fun.
