• Prepares surfaces to be painted:
o Uses the sand blasting jet to remove paint from parts to be treated.
o Cleans parts.
• Sets out and applies marking, masking (adhesive protection) on the surface to be painted.
• Checks that surfaces are compatible with application of paint (state of rust, lack of corrosion, etc.).
• Checks that the chosen paint system is suitable for the substrate and the use.
• Applies paint systems adapted to the substrate.
• Checks the surface (deposit, aspect, thickness, etc.) and identifies nonconformities.
• Does any necessary reworking and touching up to the finish.
• Manages the sand stock and makes sure that it is usable.
Work space upkeep
• Cleans and stores the equipment used.
• Reports to his manager any faulty equipment for immediate replacement or repair.
Management
• Manages all staff in the workshop.
(Clocking in, leave, training, welcome of newcomers, working hours respected, etc.).
• Makes sure that his or her staff achieve their individual goals (discussions, equipment audits, etc.).
• Undertakes to share good practices and work methods with his or her team.
• Performs the annual review of his or her staff.
Health Safety Environment Quality and Security
• Applies the branch's HSEQ policy and objectives.
• Applies the Group's Safety policy and measures.
• Takes the necessary measures to help minimise risks to Quality, Safety and the Environment.
• Exercises its right to withdraw and its duty to alert in the event of a dangerous situation.
• Applies instructions concerning compliance with HSEQ rules.
