Housekeeper

The Part-Time Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, order and general presentation of the private residence. The position requires a trustworthy, respectful and detail-oriented individual who can perform household cleaning duties efficiently while maintaining strict confidentiality and respect for the occupant's privacy.

• Previous housekeeping or domestic-cleaning experience is preferred.

• Basic literacy and the ability to follow instructions.

• Knowledge of suitable cleaning products and safe cleaning practices.

• Must be able to provide satisfactory references.

• Honest, trustworthy and respectful.

• Dependable and punctual.

• Able to work independently with limited supervision.

• Courteous and mindful of personal and household boundaries.

• Physically capable of performing routine cleaning duties.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean floors.

• Dust and wipe furniture, fixtures and household surfaces.

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas and other assigned spaces.

• Clean the kitchen, including countertops, sinks, appliances and cupboard surfaces.

• Change bed linens and make beds as required.

• Wash, fold and organize household linen and clothing when requested.

• Empty bins and dispose of household waste appropriately.

• Clean windows, mirrors and glass surfaces within safe reach.

• Replenish toiletries and household supplies and report items requiring replacement.

• Report any damage, maintenance concern or unusual condition observed within the residence.

• Use cleaning products and household equipment safely and responsibly.

• Maintain the cleanliness of the yard or immediate surroundings.

• Secure the residence upon completion of duties, where applicable.

• Perform other reasonable housekeeping duties as requested.
