Warehouse Manager

Subby’s is seeking a reliable and organized Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our central warehouse. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization, managing inventory, receiving and packing out goods, coordinating supplier payments, creating purchase orders, and replenishing stock to restaurant locations on a weekly basis.

The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, trustworthy, able to work independently, and capable of maintaining accurate inventory and purchasing records.

• Previous experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or logistics preferred.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Basic computer skills and ability to manage inventory records and purchase orders.

• Ability to lift and move stock when required.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Honest, dependable, and detail-oriented.

• Valid driver’s licence is an asset.

Warehouse Operations

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment at all times.

• Properly pack out and organize inventory items onto shelves and storage areas.

• Monitor stock levels and ensure inventory is rotated and stored correctly.

• Ensure warehouse equipment and storage areas are maintained in good condition.

Inventory & Receiving

• Receive deliveries from suppliers and verify quantities and quality of goods received.

• Check off invoices and delivery documents against purchase orders.

• Accurately record incoming inventory and organize stock accordingly.

• Identify shortages, damages, or discrepancies and report them promptly.

Purchasing & Supplier Coordination

• Create purchase orders for inventory and supplies as needed.

• Coordinate with the finance department to ensure supplier payments are prepared on time.

• Ensure payments are ready when suppliers deliver goods.

• Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and vendors.

Store Replenishment

• Collect requisition forms from all Subby’s restaurant locations.

• Prepare and distribute inventory to restaurant locations based on approved requisitions.

• Coordinate weekly replenishment deliveries to all locations.

• Ensure stores receive correct quantities and required items on schedule.

Administrative Duties

• Maintain accurate inventory, purchasing, and delivery records.

• Prepare reports on stock usage, shortages, and warehouse activities.

• Assist management with stock planning and operational improvements.
