External Sales Representative

We are searching for an External Sales Representative to assist in developing and maintaining our Tyre Market Brand throughout Guyana. The ideal candidate should be a quick learner who has strong negotiation skills and an ability to represent our brand and showcase our offerings in a compelling way. 

• Five (5) CXC Subjects inclusive of Mathematics and English A

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in sales would be an asset

• Technical knowledge in tyres will be an asset (SUV, truck, light truck, forklift and industrial tyres)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle

• Have the capacity to prove and upsell the brand based on cost per unit/per km basis.

• Collect data in the field, input and manage our tyre tracking software.

• Develop a strong understanding of the technical sales process and excel at generating leads, building long-term relationships, and closing deals.

• Maintain strong business relationships with existing clients to ensure that they receive exceptional service and identify new potential sales opportunities.

• Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business opportunities.

• Develop in-depth product knowledge through company-provided training and be able to conduct trials and handle objections.

•  Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers.

• Track all sales activities in the company CRM system and maintain records by updating account information regularly.
