To ensure the proper upkeep, repair, and maintenance of the restaurant’s facilities, equipment, and utilities, supporting smooth day-to-day operations in line with international franchise standards.
Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or a similar role (hospitality or restaurant experience preferred).
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and HVAC systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings when needed.
Physical ability to perform manual tasks, lift equipment, and work on ladders.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on kitchen equipment, HVAC, refrigeration, lighting, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Carry out minor repairs (plumbing leaks, clogged drains, broken fixtures, damaged furniture, etc.) promptly to avoid disruption of operations.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and brand standards in all maintenance activities.
Maintain a log of repairs, inspections, and equipment servicing schedules.
Support the team during emergencies (e.g., power outage, water leaks, equipment breakdowns).
Liaise with external contractors and service providers when specialized repairs are required.
Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and request replenishments as needed.
Assist with general upkeep, including painting, carpentry, and small renovation tasks.
Ensure safe storage and proper handling of tools, equipment, and chemicals.
