Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the position of GPON Tech Support. If you're the one, you will be attached to OSP Engineering Department.
The GPON Tech Support is responsible monitoring incoming network information, ensuring that safety standards are enforced, and teams provide the necessary updates to the network database, when executing works on the line plant, accessing cabinets & assigning new records. Perform administrative duties as assigned by unit management.
• Update Customer online records using Outside Plant spatial record database.
• Manage Audit and Splice documents.
• Updating and management of new installations, disconnections, and reconnections.
• Support field technician by providing customer installations details and line plant information.
• Prepare weekly report to reference customer installation and the quality-of-service installation by done contractors
• Communicate installation deficiency to contractors, follow-up to ensure closure.
• Process NAP fill requests order. Communication & follow-up with stakeholders.
• Provide support to stakeholder departments during the operation and maintenance of the line plant.
