Supervisor

·         Assist in identifying and procurement of high-demand and best-selling products to meet customer needs.

·         Assist in monitoring inventory levels to ensure stock is adequate while avoiding overstock.

·         Assist in conducting regular inventory checks to verify accuracy and address discrepancies.

·         Accurately create new product entries in the POS system, including detailed descriptions, pricing, and SKU assignments.

·         Set and adjust competitive pricing strategies to align with market conditions and profit margins.

·         Maintain accurate records of product procurement, sales, and returns for auditing/accounting purposes.

·         Assist with the posting and receiving of orders in the POS system, ensuring proper documentation.

·         Conduct regular checks of product expiration dates and ensure timely removal of expired items.

·         Support the implementation of strategies to manage close-dated products, including promotions and discounts.

·         Monitor and report on inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, and expired products to the Branch Manager.

·         Supervise and oversee the performance of store employees, ensuring all duties are performed efficiently.

·         Create and manage daily staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during operational hours.

·         Support the Branch Manager in enforcing company policies, procedures, and operational standards.

·         Address and resolve operational challenges or escalate them to the Branch Manager when necessary.

·         Provide coaching and guidance to team members for improved performance.

·         Monitor staff performance and provide feedback or coaching to improve efficiency and productivity.

·         Promote a positive and team-oriented work environment by addressing conflicts or concerns professionally.

·         Step into the role of acting Branch Manager in the absence of the Branch Manager.

·         Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Branch Manager or management team to support store operations.

: Retail Experience and 5 CXC Subjects Mathematics and English inclusive, or any other equivalent qualification with a minimum of two (2) years relevant experience.

OR

Five (5) subjects at CXC with a minimum of three (3) years relevant experience.
