CEMCO Inc. is currently seeking a suitably qualified person to fill the Position of Engineer/ Inspector of Works
Associate, Bachelor or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering with 5 to 10 years experience
Must be willing to travel to various regions within Guyana
Capable of Managing Teams as well as functioning on multiple teams simultaneously
Strong understanding of the Tendering Process and ability to prepare tenders will be an asset
Proficient in Design Softwares such as Revit and AutoCAD will be an asset
Time Management Skills are essential

CEMCO possess the technical, managerial and financial resources to provide a competent team of professionals for Project Management and to produce designs, review designs, supervise construction and administer construction projects. We have successfully designed and managed independently as well as in joint venture with many national and international firms, an array of projects in diverse areas.
In the potable water sector CEMCO have the experience for design of wells and distribution systems for both sub surface and surface water, the design and supervision of sea and river defences, the design and supervision of construction of shallow reservoirs and drainage and Irrigation Systems inclusive of farm roads, culverts, sluices, pump stations and hydrological analysis. In the transport sector, we have undertaken Feasibility Studies for proposed major and minor road networks including pavement investigation, traffic counts and origin and destination surveys, design of pavement, highway bridges and culverts together with road lighting and safety considerations.
As support, we have an associate environmentalist and associate social sector specialist to conduct Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental Management Plan (EMP) including stakeholder consultations and flora and fauna studies. We also have a survey section equipped to handle both topographic and engineering surveys using Total Station and RTK equipment. Our CAD office is equipped for all structural, roads, sea defences, buildings and architecture drawings using Autodesk suites for CAD, Revit and civil 3D.
