Job Description
We are seeking a committed and hands-on Field Supervisor to initially report to the Operations Supervisor, and eventually transition to report directly to the Operations Manager. The successful candidate will coordinate field teams—operators, mechanics, drivers, and laborers—ensuring that sales and operational goals are achieved with efficiency and quality. The role requires strong leadership, adaptability, and a commitment to company standards. Availability beyond regular work hours may be required for emergencies. Accommodation is available nearby, and transportation support may be provided after probation, depending on company needs.
Desired Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Must Haves:
At least 2 Years Supervisory experience in construction, logistics, or field operations
Good communication and leadership skills
Strong organizational and coordination capabilities
Familiarity with reporting systems and mobile communication platforms like WhatsApp
Availability for flexible work hours
Nice to Haves:
Experience with Fleetio or similar programs
Technical or mechanical background
Prior field sales or promotional experience
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Plan and line up next-day objectives for all field workers
Liaise with Sales and Operations teams to ensure task completion at required standards
Promote and maintain company culture, products, and services
Train new field staff in company procedures and expectations
Appraise team members regularly to uphold performance standards
Supervise service delivery across sand, loam, stone, machine rentals, port, and barge services
Coordinate with peers to ensure continuous field supervision coverage
Enforce safety protocols and cleanliness of the work environment
Record staff timings and submit timely reports
Use Fleetio software for equipment inspections and reporting
Oversee timely and proper execution of mechanical repairs and maintenance
Monitor cleanliness and safety of the company compound
Support and report on construction project progress
Conduct daily toolbox talks to outline daily work targets
Assist with recruiting and developing field workers
Communicate work updates via WhatsApp groups (To Do / In Progress / Completed)
Be present at job sites and respond promptly to emergency situations
Contribute to strategy development and field process improvements
Perform other duties as assigned
