Transport the merchandise requested by the customer according to the assigned route, and deliver the products with a customer service-oriented attitude, carrying the necessary documentation and collecting payments from cash customers in accordance with established procedures
Completed primary &or Secondary education
Previous experience of up to 1 year in delivery driver positions
A valid drivers' license to operate motor car, van, lorry
Physical demands:
· Visual and auditory acuity suitable for operating a large vehicle on long routes or in high-traffic areas.
· Able to remain seated for extended periods.
· Occasionally lifts moderate weights.
· Picks up, signs, reviews, and cross-checks route orders, verifying accurate invoicing for delivery.
· Drives delivery trucks.
· When possible, assists the driver's helper with merchandise deliveries.
· Collects invoice payments from cash customers.
· Ensures the correct number of signed or received invoices are delivered to the Credit and Collections department.
· Performs daily inspections to ensure the truck is in perfect working condition.
· Maintains the physical condition and cleanliness of the assigned truck on a daily basis.
· Checks merchandise returned by customers.
· Performs various other tasks as required.
