Description

Environmental Management Consultants Inc. (EMC Inc.) is seeking an enthusiastic and talented individual to provide support to the EMC Inc. Management Team in the overall activities and management of the operations of EMC Inc. This position offers the potential for professional growth in a highly regarded working environment.

Requirements

 Minimum Five (5) CXC with English and Mathematics or Guyana Technical Institute Diploma in Administrative Principles and Practices or equivalent qualification

 Must be computer literate and proficient in MS EXCEL and MS WORD

 Knowledge of accounting would be an asset

 Minimum two (2) years’ working experience

Responsibilities

The Administrative & Finance Officer shall efficiently and effectively carry out the tasks described below:

1 Provide support to the EMC Inc. Management Team in the overall activities and management of the operations of EMC Inc.

2 Assist the Operations Manager in the area of administration and finance.

3 Assist the Operations Manager to complete tasks related to projects and activities being undertaken by EMC Inc. and provide support to the management of the EMC office.

4 Assist in planning, organizing and participating in meetings, fora and field visits.

5 Other tasks as directed by the Operations Manager, Administrative and Finance Director and Managing Director.
