MovieTowne Guyana is seeking a suitably qualified individual for the position of Marketing Officer. The main responsibilities include managing all marketing activities, conducting market research and carrying out promotional campaigns. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, creativity, and practical execution to drive customer engagement, foot traffic, and revenue.
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing
2 Years experience in the Marketing Field
Critical thinker with strong problem-solving
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges
Ability to adapt quickly to change
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills as well as attention to detail

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance the mall's overall image.
Development of marketing plans for the calendar year.
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
Analyze and monitor competitors' pricing, as well as environmental factors that can impact marketing’s performance.
Devise branding initiatives that elevate the mall's image and create a distinctive identity in the market.
Organize and promote large-scale events, premieres, and special screenings to attract and entertain the target audience.
Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and a positive return on investment.
Establish strategic partnerships with local businesses, influencers, and community organizations to enhance the mall's visibility.
Oversee the digital presence of the cinema and mall, including website management, social media platforms, and online advertising.
Creation of contents for advertisement.
Preparation of monthly reports.
Solicit and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in the mall experience.
Conduct additional duties as needed and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results.
Any other function that falls under the purview of this position.
