The Engineering Support & Procurement Lead is a key role responsible for orchestrating the procurement process and providing technical support to the engineering team. This position involves strategic procurement management, vendor relationship development, and ensuring seamless collaboration between procurement and engineering. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing costs, enhancing supplier performance, and contributing to the overall success of projects.



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in procurement and engineering support roles.

  • Advanced certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.

Strategic Procurement Management:

Engineering Collaboration:

  • Act as a liaison between the procurement and engineering teams to facilitate seamless collaboration.

  • Drive innovation by identifying suppliers that align with cutting-edge technological advancements.

Vendor Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors, assessing performance and addressing issues proactively.

  • Collaborate with vendors to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure alignment with quality standards.

  • Implement a vendor risk management program to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.

Market Analysis and Forecasting:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.

  • Forecast market conditions to make informed decisions regarding procurement strategies.

  • Anticipate potential challenges and develop contingency plans to ensure supply chain resilience.

Inventory Optimization:

  • Oversee inventory management processes, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing carrying costs.

  • Implement inventory control measures to prevent stock-outs and excess inventory.
