Candidates are required to have the following qualifications and attributes for the aforementioned role:

- A sound secondary school education with a minimum of a Grade 2 pass in English Language at the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) Exam or other recognized equivalent; 

- A detail-oriented approach to his/her work 

- Proficiency in using Microsoft Productivity Tools (particularly Excel & Word)

While prior experience is not a requirement, it would be favourable if candidates have at least two (2) years of experience in a similar line of work.

Key Duties and Responsibilities of the Dispatch Team include:

• Interacting with clientelle to address their transportation requests over various channels of communication;
• Updating transportation logs with customers’ transportation requests;
• Communicating logistical details to drivers with respects to the trips they must execute on their shifts;
• Dispatching trips at the appropriate time to the relevant customer(s);
• Tracking vehicles using GPS software and contacting drivers should the driver raise alerts on the GPS (e.g., excessive idling times, speeding, rash turns and the wearing of the seat belt);
• Answering customer queries on the status of the vehicle’s whereabouts when en route for a trip;
• Following-up with drivers upon completion of their runs to ensure that the trip they executed corresponds with the booking form, also documenting any changes that may have arisen
• Liaising with the driver should any changes arise during the trip;
