Description

To assist the Technical Director in all aspects of development specializing in and overseeing all Youth Football. This includes Grassroots programmes, Youth Leagues, Schools Football programmes and the recruitment of Youth Coaches for the Guyana Football Federation's (GFF) Coach Education courses. The role includes administration work – reporting and monitoring of programmes.

Requirements

1. Qualified to a minimum of UEFA B level – or actively working towards this.

2. Must be from a football background. Ideally a former player at a high level.

3. Proven skills and experience in the implementation and delivery of football development programmes.

4. Must be computer literature and possess the ability to use a variety of computer software applications to effectively to track and monitor the progress of YDO programmes.

5. Ability to send and receive emails in a timely manner.

6. Ability to produce detailed reports and presentations.

7. Must have the ability to prioritize workloads to ensure all deadlines are met in an appropriate manner.

8. Experience in the management of staff to ensure their effective operation, work allocation and discipline.

9. Willingness to work irregular hours and travel extensively when required.

10. Previous experience of working in a multi-disciplinary sports environment and comfortable managing differing tensions that may prevail is desirable.

Responsibilities

1. Develop, implement and manage the National Grassroots, Schools Football, and Youth Football programmes under the direction of the Technical Director.

2. Recruit youth coaches for coach education courses and monitor their development.

3. Continually promote and improve the game of football in Guyana at all levels from grassroots to elite.

4. Support the delivery of coach education in all Associations under the direction of the Technical Director.

5. Support national youth teams through development programmes, including assisting with managing talent identification processes as instructed by the Technical Director.

6. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as reasonably instructed by the GFF from time to time.
