Security Project Coordinator

The Security Project Coordinator is responsible for the planning, mobilization, implementation, and day-to-day operational management of security contracts assigned.

The Coordinator serves as the primary operational lead for the project and is responsible for ensuring all security personnel, supervisors, and site operations meet contractual requirements, company standards, and client expectations.

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the security industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

• Previous service in the Police Force, Military or other disciplined service would be an asset.

• Proven experience managing security personnel, duty rosters, and multi-site operations.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to operational sites as required.

• Knowledge of the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code would be an asset

• Coordinate the day-to-day operations of multiple security sites to ensure contractual and company standards are met.

• Develop and maintain duty rosters, staffing schedules, and deployment plans.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Shift Supervisors, providing guidance and operational support.

• Develop, implement, and update site-specific Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and overall workforce performance.

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and client requirements.

• Coordinate the recruitment, onboarding, and deployment of security personnel in collaboration with management.

• Track training requirements, certifications, and competency records to ensure workforce readiness.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), investigate incidents, and prepare operational reports for management.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by ensuring prompt resolution of operational issues and delivering exceptional service.
