Kitchen Assistant

The Kitchen Assistant supports the kitchen team by preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food assembly, and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently. This role is essential in maintaining quality, speed of service, and a clean working environment.

• Previous experience in a kitchen setting

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning

• Assist with sandwich, wrap, salad, and pastry preparation

• Wash Dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment

• Clean and sanitize food preparation areas throughout the day

• Receive, label, and store deliveries correctly

• Rotate stock using FIFO principles

• Dispose of waste and maintain a clean kitchen environment

• Replenish ingredients and supplies during service

• Assist with end-of-day kitchen cleaning and closing procedures
