The HVAC Lead Technician is responsible for the maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Must have a strong understanding of HVAC principles and excellent troubleshooting skills.
EPA Section 608 Certification-Universal type preferred
Completion of an HVAC training program or apprenticeship (certificate or associate degree) preferably Level 2 certification
At least 3-5 years working with HVAC systems.
Must have manufacturer-specific training for: Mitsubishi City Multi, Trane VRF, Libert Precision Cooling Systems
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
Willingness to work overtime and on-call as needed
Planned Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, checking refrigerant levels, and lubricating moving parts.
Oversee and monitor subcontractors working on site within HVAC discipline
Reactive Maintenance: Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC systems, including identifying and replacing faulty components.
Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot complex HVAC problems, using diagnostic tools and knowledge of system operations
Subcontractors: Oversee and monitor Subcontractors working on site within the HVAC discipline
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed, including interfacing with Nuvolo or the Nuvolo planner
Safety: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while working on HVAC systems
