Babysitter

A family is seeking an experienced, responsible, nurturing and trustworthy babysitter to provide temporary in-home care for a child two years of age, while parents are away from home. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining daily routines, engaging the child in relevant age related activities as well as always maintaining a child safe and healthy environment.

1. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in childcare

2. Understanding of child development and age-appropriate behavior management

3. Certification in CPR training and First Aid training would be an asset

4. Excellent communication skills

1. Monitor the child, always ensuring safety.

2. Assist in maintaining already established daily routines i.e hygiene, meal times, etc

3. Engage the child in age-appropriate play

4. Light housekeeping related to the child, including tidying play areas and cleaning dishes used by the child
