Accounts Clerk

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as an accounts clerk.

The Accounts Clerk provides administrative and accounting support to the Finance Department by maintaining financial records, processing accounting entries, completing account reconciliations, managing financial documentation, and assisting with month-end and year-end activities. The role ensures the accuracy, organization, and integrity of accounting records while supporting the organization's overall financial operations.

• Certificate, Diploma, or Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, and Business Administration, or a related field. 

• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered 

• 1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, accounting, or a related finance role referred

• Prepare and enter journal entries into the accounting system. 

• Maintain and update general ledger records. 

• Complete reconciliations of bank accounts, petty cash, and balance sheet accounts. 

• Review financial transactions for accuracy and completeness. 

• Maintain organized accounting files and supporting documentation. 

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. 

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes. 

• Monitor and reconcile interdepartmental accounts and transactions.

• Assist with fixed asset record maintenance and asset verification.

• Prepare schedules and documentation required for internal and external audits. 

• Assist with budget tracking and expenditure reporting. 

• Ensure compliance with established accounting procedures and internal controls. 

• General financial reports and account analyses as requested by management. 

• Provide administrative support to the Finance Department as required.
