Customer Service Rep - Freight Forwarding

CS World Cargo 2000 Inc. is a prominent and growing freight forwarding company with over 38 years of experience.

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our freight forwarding team.

In this role, you will be a key point of contact for our customers, ensuring they receive timely updates and support throughout the shipping process. You will also assist with operational coordination and the management of shipping documentation.

Qualifications

• 2 Years experience in customer service; experience in freight forwarding (REQUIRED).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused attitude.

• Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office, and internal software systems

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers regarding their shipments and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Provide regular shipment updates, including delays, schedule changes, arrivals, and delivery information.

• Track shipments and follow up with carriers, agents, and internal teams when required.

• Prepare, review, and send shipping documents and other required documentation to customers.

• Maintain accurate shipment information and customer records in internal systems.

• Assist with resolving shipment issues and escalating concerns when necessary.

• Work closely with the operations team to ensure a smooth and positive customer experience.

• Other tasks as assigned by management.
