The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, supporting doctors and other healthcare professionals, and ensuring patients receive safe, compassionate, and effective treatment. The Registered Nurse will assess patient needs, administer medication, monitor patient progress, maintain accurate records, and educate patients and their families on care plans and health management.
The role requires professionalism, strong clinical knowledge, good communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a hospital, clinic, or medical center environment.
Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid nursing license or registration from the relevant Nursing Council/Board.
Previous nursing experience in a hospital, clinic, or medical center is preferred.
Strong knowledge of patient care, medication administration, infection control, and emergency response.
Ability to monitor vital signs and identify changes in patient condition.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well with doctors, patients, families, and other staff members.
Strong attention to detail and proper documentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies calmly.
Compassionate, patient, professional, and respectful attitude.
Basic computer skills for patient records and reporting.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, holidays, or on-call duties if required.
Experience in emergency care, maternity, pediatrics, surgery, ICU, outpatient care, or medical/surgical nursing would be an advantage. CPR, First Aid, or Basic Life Support certification is also preferred.
Assess patients’ physical, emotional, and medical conditions.
Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and progress.
Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and minor surgeries.
Prepare patients for tests, treatments, and medical procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records, charts, and nursing notes.
Provide wound care, dressing changes, and infection-control support.
Educate patients and families about medication, treatment plans, aftercare, and healthy practices.
Respond quickly to emergencies and provide first aid or life-saving support when needed.
Ensure patient comfort, privacy, dignity, and safety at all times.
Follow proper infection prevention and control procedures.
Collect samples such as blood, urine, or swabs when required.
Coordinate with doctors, laboratory staff, pharmacists, and other healthcare workers.
Supervise nursing assistants, caregivers, or junior nursing staff where applicable.
Check and maintain medical supplies, equipment, and medication stock.
Report any change in patient condition to the doctor or supervisor immediately.
Follow all clinic/hospital policies, nursing standards, and health regulations.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
