Description

The General Clerk performs a wide range of administrative and clerical tasks, such as organizing, storing, and processing both digital and paper generated information.

Requirements

  • Five (5) subjects at CXC/CSEC inclusive of English Language, Mathematics and Principles of Accounts

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to be trained on inventory software

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, detail-oriented, and time consciousness

Responsibilities

  • Prepare letters, reports, and memoranda for distribution

  • Receive, store and issue equipment, materials and merchandise

  • Prepare stock requisitions, requests for quotations and purchase orders

  • Accurately records stock moments in the storeroom ledger

  • Review and print inventory stock sheets if there are no queries

  • Verify entries against orders and note discrepancies

  • Prepare and print bills as required
